Boots used in testing
We tested the skis in both styles of boots actually. Our testers ski in overlap 130/140 flex boots from Head and Lange, cabrio style backcountry boots from Dynafit (SC skis), and cabrio Full Tilts (Bode). Bode also skied them in his new Scarpa Quattro XTs 130 which are kind of a mashup of an overlap and a cabrio.
Our KeyHole Technology and reduced sidecut is so effective at delivering a balanced feel (feet up skiing) that we found that boot selection didn’t matter as much.
